Jared Goodman, from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), talked about the view of animal activists on efforts to enshrine the right to hunt and fish in state constitutions. He also spoke about PETA’s efforts to curb hunting practices and use new technology to monitor hunters. Mr. Goodman equated animal ownership with slavery. Video clips were shown of William Horn, from the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, speaking about hunting rights on May 24, 2014. close
