Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) spoke on the Senate floor about President Obama’s handling of the escalating violence in Iraq. He said the same Bush-era people who started the Iraq War were now blaming President Obama for a situation that they created, citing in particular an opinion piece by former Vice President Dick Cheney. Senator Reid said he did not support putting U.S. troops back into Iraq, saying Iraq needed to resolve its own problems. close
