Education Secretary Arne Duncan opened the White House daily briefing to talk about the Obama administration’s “Excellent Educators for All Initiative.” Afterward, Josh Earnest briefed reporters and answered questions on a variety of topics. Mr. Earnest said it was “unlikely” that most of the unaccompanied immigrant children at the Texas border would qualify for humanitarian relief and would have to return to their home country. He also said President Obama still had no plans to visit the Southwest border when he traveled later in the week for fundraisers in Texas. close
