Josh Earnest responded to questions from reporters during his daily White House briefing. He talked about an attack on military personnel in Afghanistan in which a general was killed. He said that President Obama had called General Joseph Dunford, commander of the forces in Afghanistan, for a briefing. Other topics included the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Ebola outbreak in Africa, and the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit being held in Washington. close
