President Obama made a statement about the death of U.S. photojournalist James Foley, a foreign correspondent who went missing in Syria in 2012. ISIS* militants released a video that day showing Mr. Foley’s beheading. In his remarks, President Obama said “the entire world is appalled” and vowed that the U.S. would continue to do what was necessary to protect Americans.
