Susan Crabtree talked about U.S. efforts to target homegrown ISIS* threats and the group’s efforts to attract Westerners. Other topics included U.S. strategies to counter ISIS' propaganda campaign, and Khorasan, an al-Qaida cell in Syria devoted to attacks on Western countries. Ms. Crabtree also previewed President Obama’s address at a United Nations meeting on ISIS later in the week.
