Former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff talked about the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) which allows citizens of certain countries to travel to the U.S. for up to 90 days without a visa. He spoke in favor of maintaining the program despite security concerns surrounding it and responded to questions before leaving. Then a panel discussion was held on the benefits of the VWP, especially for the tourism industry, and the potential negative consequences of suspending or terminating the program. In conclusion, Polish Ambassador Schnepf spoke about his hope that Poland would soon be added to the list of countries that qualify for inclusion.
