Senate Armed Services Chair Carl Levin (D-MI) spoke about U.S.-Afghanistan relations. Afterward he answered questions from moderator Stephen Hadley and members of the audience. Senator Levin also said that Congress should authorize military force against Islamic State* militants and that buffer and no-fly zones should be set up along the Syria-Turkey border where ISIS fighters were trying to advance.
