Panelists talked about the Migration Policy Institute’s new report on changes to the U.S. deportation system since the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took over the responsibilities of the Immigration and Naturalization Service in 2003. Topics included how those changes could affect future deportation policy. DHS immigration policy enforcement priorities, and how Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were adhering to those priorities via removals and deportations. close
