The papers were: “The Resurrection of African-American Conservatives” by Anthea Butler; “The Rise of the 'Nones'” by Matthew Hedstrom; “Prepping for Doomsday” by Matthew Avery Sutton; and “The End of the Evangelical Age” by Steven P. Miller.

“Transitions in Politics and American Religion” was the fourth panel in Southern Methodist University’s Center for Presidential History and Washington University’s Danforth Center on Religion and Politics day-long forum on religion and politics in American history. close
