Ambassador Robert Gallucci, former assistant secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, gave his assessment on nuclear proliferation and security threats facing the U.S. His speech began with the 1940s and outlined through the decades the various stances of U.S. nuclear deterrence and policy.

Ambassador Galucci served as chief negotiator during the North Korean nuclear crisis in 1994 and worked on nonproliferation and nuclear safety initiatives with Russia during his tenure. close
