“Defining Privacy Interests” was the first session of the public meeting on “Defining Privacy” held at the Washington Marriott Georgetown Hotel. The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board was created to oversee the balance of privacy and security.

The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board hosts four panel discussions on what conceptual interests are at stake in discussions of privacy. The board was created as part of the 9/11 Commission Act to oversee the balance of privacy and security. close
