Speaking outside under the California sun, President Bush criticized Democratic presidential nominee Governor Bill Clinton’s expertise in military affairs and economic proposals. He also accused Governor Clinton of “fearmongering” concerning the issue of “family values.” Prior to the speech by President Bush, Representative Robert Dornan (R-CA), Governor Pete Wilson (R-CA) and former President Ronald Reagan addressed the crowd.
