House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spoke to reporters about her recommendations for the Democratic leadership team for the next Congress. The election would be held the next day. She announced that Representative Ben Lujan (D-NM) would serve as Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair, replacing Representative Steve Israel, who would be be the new policy and communications director. Representatives Donna Edwards and Rosa DeLauro would serve as co-chairs of the Policy and Steering Committee. Other topics included the reasons proxy votes were not allowed. close
