Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) talked about the influence Wall Street has on Congress through their hundreds of lobbyists and criticizing the “revolving door” between Wall Street executives and the Treasury Department. She related this to the 2008 financial crisis. Senator Warren also repeated her opposition to President Obama’s nomination of Wall Street investment banker Antonio Weiss as Treasury undersecretary for domestic finance, saying his international investment banking dealings did not make him the best candidate to oversee domestic finances.
