Representative Mike Rogers (R-MI), the retiring chair of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, talked with reporters and responded to questions at a “Monitor Breakfast” hosted by the Christian Science Monitor at the St. Regis Hotel. He said the intelligence business had had “a rough couple of years.” He commented on the release of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence report on CIA interrogation techniques, saying the report was not “definitive,” and that it was “partisan in nature and that the methodology is in question."He repeated his warning that the release of the report would "cause violence and deaths.” He also talked about the Benghazi report, talks with Iran on the country’s nuclear program, and the influence of *ISIL.
