Tax attorney Paul Oosterhuis spoke about corporate inversions and their role in business tax avoidance. A corporate inversion is when a company re-incorporates abroad or merges with a foreign company in order to reduce its corporate tax burden. Mr. Oosterhuis talked about the background and history of this practice in the United States and United Kingdom.
