Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) delivered the weekly Republican address. A former director of the Office of Management and Budget, he criticized President Obama’s fiscal year 2016 budget proposal as having $1 trillion in higher spending and $8.5 trillion in new debt. Senator Portman said that Republicans would offer a different budget proposal in the coming weeks that would cut waste, spend smarter, and recognize that Americans were already paying enough in taxe. close
