J.C. Hallman talked about his book, B & Me: A true Story of Literary Arousal, about the author’s discovery of writer Nicholson Baker and the relationship people have with books. This book release event held at Lucky’s on the Green restaurant was a Booksmart Tulsa event.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2015 LCV Cities Tour” in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from March 8-12 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Cox Communications local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on BookTV on C-SPAN2. close
