The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held a hearing on an April 15, 2015, incident in which a man flew through restricted airspace to land his gyrocopter on the Capitol lawn. Members questioned officials from the Defense Department, Federal Aviation Administration, Secret Service, Capitol Police and U.S. Park Police on why the gyrocopter was able to make it into restricted airspace. close
