Author Charles Shields talked about Mockingbird, his book on the life of author Harper Lee and the controversy surrounding the recent discovery of Ms. Lee’s manuscript, Go Set a Watchman. Ms. Lee wrote the work before To Kill a Mockingbird but never published it. Mr. Shields was interviewed by Neely Tucker, a staff writer for the Washington Post Magazine. close
