President Obama delivered his weekly address. He talked about the work the administration was doing to enhance trust between communities and law enforcement in the year past year, such as by the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The president noted that while progress was being made, the issues go beyond policing, which was why the administration was seeking broader reforms to the criminal justice system and to making new investments in our children and their future. close
