President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s grandchildren gathered for a family discussion at Gettysburg College about his military and political career as well as his legacy and relevance for 21st century Americans. President Eisenhower first lived in Gettysburg as a young Army officer in 1918 and retired to a farm there after leaving the White House. He also served as a Gettysburg College trustee. C-SPAN political editor Steve Scully moderated the panel, which included Susan Eisenhower, Anne Eisenhower, and Mary Eisenhower.
