Professor Emeritus Raphael Cassimere, Jr., responded to viewer comments on the World War II experience of African Americans. He spoke from the C-SPAN 2016 Campaign Bus parked outside the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before this program a taped “American Artifacts” program was shown featuring the museum exhibit “Fighting for the Right to Fight.” This was part of live and taped coverage from the National World War II Museum in New Orleans commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. close
