Cameras recorded the activities of Vice President Quayle as he campaigned in western Ohio outside an army tank plant in Lima, in a park in St. Mary’s, Ohio, and in a restaurant in Troy, Ohio. The vice president threw a football into the assembled crowd before speaking from a gazebo in St. Mary’s. Cameras also recorded him waving to crowds from his campaign bus. The vice president also spoke in front of a high school band in Xenia, Ohio, and responded briefly to questions while aboard his campaign bus. close
