West Virginia Senator Jay Rockefeller (D), Florida Governor Lawton Chiles (D), and Linda Jenckes of the Health Insurance Association of America, discussed proposals for health care reform in a break during the 1993 meeting of the National Governors Association in the Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. They spoke on rising health care costs and proposals for providing health care coverage for all Americans. Prior to the roundtable, Ray Sheppach, Executive Director of The National Governors Association spoke on current issues being addressed by the NGA in an interview taped prior to the beginning of the meeting. close
