Political ads were shown for the Democratic presidential nomination campaigns of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). They were released in New York on April 7, 2016, ahead of the April 19th primary.

The Clinton ad “Norma” featured Norma Nowak, the founder of Empire Genomics, talking about how Senator Clinton helped start the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and the high-tech jobs now available there.

The Clinton ad “Every Corner” emphasized how as senator she served all areas of the state.

The Sanders ad called “America,” was set to the song “They’ve all come to look for America,” sung Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It was the New York version of an ad used in previous states. close
