Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) confirmed to reporters a Politico report that he was re-considering his decision not to run for re-election to the Senate. He confirmed that he had met with Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera to discuss the open Senate seat when he was in Orlando June 12, 2016. Lieutenant Governor Lopez-Cantera had been running to fill that seat with Senator Rubio’s blessing. Senator Rubio said he would be discussing the matter with his family. close
