President Obama spoke to reporters about and answered their questions on the Supreme Court’s 4-4 ruling in U.S. v. Texas, which upheld a lower court’s injunction against the Obama administration’s deferred-action immigration policy. The president said the decision had less of an impact than it would have if the court had a ninth member confirmed by the Senate.
