Ms. Steinem, feminist and the founder of \f2Ms.\fR magazine, delivered the commencement address to the 1993 graduating class of her alma mater, Wellesley College. In her remarks, Ms. Steinem spoke on issues relating to civil rights for homosexuals and women and the slowly changing public outlook on gender issues. She encouraged the students to bring the political and spiritual strength they learned at Wellesley to the outside world. close
