He answered questions on a range of issues including funding for Medicare and Medicaid, the opioid epidemic, community-based clinic training and autism. He also discussed the administration’s approach for lowering health care costs including prescription drugs. Mr. Azar was sworn in as HHS secretary in January 2018.
