The Senate Special Committee on Aging held a hearing on the state of Alzheimer’s research and to highlight the human and economic toll of the disease. Witnesses included officials from federal and state agencies, along with family caregivers that included actress Marcia Gay Harden. Ms. Harden shared some personal experiences of her mother who was diagnosed with the disease. close
