President Trump spoke briefly with the press before departing the White House for a campaign rally in Duluth, Minnesota. While discussing his performance in the previous night’s debate, the president said he “got tremendous reviews on it,” later saying he won “the debate by almost every poll.” He also replied, “I don’t know who the Proud Boys are,” when asked to clarify his comments he made at the debate regarding the group. On white supremacy, the president said, “I’ve always denounced any form of that.” close
