The American Task Force for Bosnia, a coalition of social policy, civil rights and religious groups, held a news conference to discuss U.S. foreign policy in Bosnia. The group recommended that the U.S. take direct action soon in Bosnia to end the continuing hostilities in the region and prevent the genocide of Muslims by Serbs in Bosnian cities. The American Task Force in Bosnia includes members of Christian, Jewish and Muslim groups as well as secular organization. The news conference coincided with the anniversary of Bill Clinton’s 1992 statement urging stronger tactics in Bosnia. close
