Cameras surveyed the scene in Portage De Sioux, West Alton, South St. Louis, and Orchard Farm, Missouri, as the flood waters from the Mississippi River slowly receded from their high water mark earlier in the month. Community members pointed out the worst of the damage by the flood to farms, roads and buildings, and federal inspectors toured the damage caused to a county airport and area homes. Inspection of a toxic dump site was shown. Cameras also recorded a district office field meeting by the office of Rep. Richard Gephardt. close
