A panel of Supreme Court correspondents talked about the relationship of the Supreme Court and the media in a forum during the convention of the American Political Science Association. The panelists talked about recent issues involved in media coverage of the Supreme Court, including the daily beat of a reporter covering the Supreme Court, the reticence of the Supreme Court in allowing the media to cover court proceedings and court justice appearances, and how correspondents handle Supreme Court rulings as news events. Following their prepared remarks, the panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. close
