President Ronald Reagan addressed a crowd at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Veterans Day. The president was introduced by John Wheeler, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. During his speech, the president spoke about the deep divisions on the Vietnam War, but that the cause was just and “young Americans must never again be sent to fight and die unless we are prepared to let them win.” close
