Following a closed-door meeting with Secretary of Defense Les Aspin on U.S. policy in Somalia, Representative Curt Weldon (R-PA) discussed his position with reporters. He stated that he was “outraged” and “disgusted” that this meeting did not take place in a public setting and speculated that it was because Secretary Aspin did not want to answer questions that would prove uncomfortable. close
