Author and commentator William F. Buckley, Jr. talked about his compendium titled Happy Days Were Here Again, published by Random House. The book is a collection of more than 120 articles and speeches written between 1985 and 1993. Beginning with Mr. Buckley’s 1950 Class Day speech while a student at Yale, he addresses the Cold War, the passing of friends, the joys of sailing the open seas, liberty, and the comfort of faith.
