President Bill Clinton, joined with several representatives and town leaders, spoke to a small crowd on the airplane tarmac concerning the importance of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He outlined the reasons for congressional passage of NAFTA and saluted Vice President Gore for his “outstanding” performance on Larry King Live debating H. Ross Perot.
