The United States Senate spent an hour on the Habeas Corpus Reform Bill. It would limit the ability of people convicted in state courts to challenge those convictions by filing Habeas potions in Federal Court. The Senate also debated the Brady Handgun Bill. The bill imposes a five-day waiting period to purchase handguns. close
