leadership meeting with President Clinton concerning the

accomplishments of the first year of the 103rd Congress. Senator

Cochran spoke about the Senate Republican filibuster on the Brady

Bill and the effort to gain enough votes for cloture. Following a

short opening statement by Representative Michel, they took questions

concerning meetings with South Korean President Sam, the North

American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), congressional accomplishments,

and the Brady Bill. close
