Former Senators Paul Tsongas, and Warren Rudman, co-chairs of the Concord Coalition, released what the group is calling its first annual deficit reduction scorecard. At the briefing, the two founders discussed the scorecard results. It rates the performance of each member of the House of Representatives and the Senate on deficit reduction votes last year. The Concord Coalition, founded in 1992, is a bipartisan organization, which describes itself as a grass roots group which focuses on ways to eleiminate the federal deficit. Former Senators Tsongas and Rudman founded the Concord Coalition in 1992. The group focuses on ways to eliminate the federal deficit. It has chapters in all fifty states, and 150,000 nationwide. close
