U.S. Trade Represenative Mickey Kantor testified at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing. Ambassador Kantor discussed U.S. Trade policy, in particular U.S. Relations with Japan. The previous year, the trade deficit with Japan was a record 59.3 Billion dollars. Ambassador Kantor discussed the possibility of trade sanctions if Japanese markets were not opened to U.S. products. close
