President Clinton extended his and Mrs. Clinton’s “deepest sympathies and prayers” to the friends and loved ones of the 132 people killed in the air crash near Pittsburgh on Thursday. The President also spoke on the need to curb violence among our youth, the idea of cities and towns coming together to put the spirit of community to work, his proclamation of National Gang Violence Prevention Week, the signing of the Crime Bill next week, and his AmeriCorps national service program. close
