President Clinton announced that he was appointing Representative Dan Glickman (D-KS) to succeed Mike Espy as Secretary of Agriculture. President Clinton praised the work of Secretary Espy and expressed his confidence in Rep. Glickman. Rep. Glickman promised to support the farming community and administration efforts toward free trade.
