President Clinton announced that he was appointing Representative Dan Glickman (D-KS) to succeed Mike Espy as Secretary of Agriculture. President Clinton praised the work of Secretary Espy and expressed his confidence in Rep. Glickman. Rep. Glickman promised to support the farming community and administration efforts toward free trade. After their remarks, President Clinton took a few questions from the press on the status of the downed helicopter pilot in North Korea. close
