Professor Krammer provided the history of the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Three Japanese-Americans, who had been interned by the War Relocation Authority, talked about their experiences in the internment camps. President Roosevelt ordered the internment of Japanese-Americans in March 1942 because they were believed to be security risks. They were not released until the spring of 1944. close
