The Supreme Court heard arguments in two cases involving alleged race-based congressional redistricting. The two cases concern Louisiana’s 4th district currently represented by Representative Cleo Fields and Georgia’s 11th district currently represented by Representative Cynthia McKinney. They and others involved commented on the cases after the court session. The Court’s decision was expected to be delivered in July 1995. close
