Day 4 of the Joint House Committee continued the Waco Investigation. In continuing testimony on 1993 raids on the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas, Assistant Secretary Noble rebutted arguments that his report on the Waco incidents was a cover-up. The reported was extremely critical of some Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officials. Director Magaw, installed as the new ATF director after the Noble report, described extensive structural and procedural changes in the agency in an attempt to rebuild public confidence. close
