Current news events and political issues were examined through reviews of the morning newspapers; interviews with journalists, newsmakers and legislators; and viewer telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. In the first segment Mr. Lightman discussed a Supreme Court decision on gay rights and other headline stories. In the next segment, Mr. Prichard and Ms. Eldon, mother of a slain journalist, talked by remote connection from the Freedom Forum memorial to fallen journalists in Roslyn, VA Mr. Williams won a C-SPAN scholarship and the School Bus visited him at his high school. Rabbi Lerner and Mr. Norquist talked about Lerner’s book, The Politics of Meaning. close
